We offer a range of services to help you through your difficult moments in life.
By shopping at our store or donating your items to us, it enables us to assist our local Noosa and Sunshine Coast community that we all love, by providing support and assistance in the form of crisis intervention, clothing, furniture and household goods and financial assistance to make life a little easier for those members of our community who need a helping hand.
In collaboration with our extensive network of support agencies on the Sunshine Coast we endeavour to assist those in need in our community regardless of race, ethnicity gender or sexuality.

Emergency Relief
The Care Team has a range of programs and resources designed to provide support to individuals and families facing difficult circumstances, such as financial hardship, homelessness, family and domestic violence or health challenges. These services may include emergency food and shelter assistance, financial assistance and counselling, consultations, mental health services and more.
Waves of Kindness provides these services to help alleviate the immediate and long-term effects of hardship by helping people access the resources they need to regain stability and rebuild their lives.
Welfare Services
Waves of Kindness offer welfare services to individuals in a safe and confidential environment to talk through problems and can offer referrals to receive support and guidance from a trained professional. These services may focus on a range of issues such as mental health, relationship problems, addiction, trauma to name a few. Counsellors may use a variety of therapeutic techniques to help clients understand their emotions and behaviours, develop coping strategies, and improve their overall well-being.
Our support staff can refer clients to other relevant agencies within our network to facilitate a holistic care package for the best outcomes.
Clothes
Waves of Kindness is a depot for preloved and excess clothing, which is sold, repurposed or distributed to those in need. The sale of goods is a great way for our customers to give back to your community while also decluttering the home. Rather than throwing away clothes that are still in good condition, they are donated to Waves of Kindness who distribute them to people who need them or sell them in our beautiful shop. From the sale of these clothes Waves of Kindness can generate revenue to assist people through our Emergency Relief Program.
Additionally, donating to charities allows the community to directly impact the lives of others in a positive way. By providing clothes to those in need, it can help someone stay warm, feel confident, and even get a job. As a bonus, this can help reduce waste and support sustainable practices.
Household Goods
Household goods donated to Waves of Kindness helps those in need and makes a positive impact in the community. Waves of Kindness welcomes a wide variety of household goods including furniture, bedding, electrical goods in working order, kitchen items, books, toys, bric-a-brac, outdoor and garden items, basically any useful, household items no longer required. These are distributed to help families and individuals who are struggling financially, in transition, or facing other challenges, or sold to raise funds that can help in other ways. Donations can provide them with essential items such as clothing, bedding, furniture, and kitchenware, which they may not be able to afford. Through our Emergency Relief Program we are able to provide furniture and household packages from the donated household goods to furnish houses and units for people who have experienced homelessness or escaped family and domestic violence situations to make a comfortable and safe home for themselves and their family.
Additionally, donating household goods reduces waste and contributes to sustainability by keeping items out of landfills.
